Warm sunny weather, nearly warm enough to have breakfast in the garden, certainly warm enough to be outside working in the garden and tidying bits up. I still need to trim the bushes, they are way overdue, maybe next weekend.

In the meantime, the cherry blossom is out, the blackcurrant bush is green, and lots of rows of tiny plants in the the beds:

• onions
• spinach
• radish
• beetroot
• carrot? (not showing yet)
• potatoes (hoping to see them pop through next week)

Everything is so small, but I know that this time next month everything will be looking a lot different.

The black plastic netting is doing a good job at keeping the squirrels and cat off the beds, I need to invest in a bit more so I can cover both beds.
