With the recent warm weather it was nice to go to the plot late afternoon and cut the grass for the first time this year, having done likewise in the garden. It was only 4 o’clock but it felt like late evening on a warm summers day. I was surprised to see a number of other people on their plots, normally it is just me. New people on the plot next to us were there, I had seen it being cleared over the last couple of weeks and so it was nice to meet them in person.

I cut the grass, talked to the new people, and then came home – just a quick visit.
