I noticed one or two buds starting to show some leaf which means in a couple of days or so we will be having apple blossom for that sort amount of time.  It is such a shame that the blossom which lasts days only, seems to always get an unwanted hand from the windy weather that comes just as the blossom appears!

We shall see.  Last year it was not good on the apple front.  I think this year I need to keep a better eye on thining the apples out and sorting out what looked like Wooley Aphid type things all over the tree last year which of course it did not like!
