Firstly, out came garlic and over wintered onions. The over wintered onions were not actually planted, I think they must be from onion seed last year that didn’t come to much and so were left in the ground. I’ve put both crops to dry for a couple of weeks.
In went courgettes and unknown squash. I had not labelled the squash but instead took a photo when I sowed the seed but had since lost of the photo. I know there is a mix of pumpkin and butternut squash. I dug deep holes, watered them and put in the plants, keeping a bit of a dam of soil around them to collect the water.
Carrots and beetroot seedlings seem to have suffered from slugs, fingers crossed they will fight back.
