Leaves everywhere

It’s autumn time when the whole plot is covered in leaves. I raked them up and added them to the compost along with grass cuttings from strimming the paths. I will probably be raking up leaves again next week.

It’s a pity the two pumpkin plants have only managed to grow one small pumpkin after last year we had lots. I’ll give it a week or two before I pick it just in case it decides to grow any larger.

I planted overwintering broad beans, covering them with bottles to stop mice or rats from digging them up and eating them.
