Grapes, making wine

Well, not actually, but we do have a lot of grapes. Actually, we don’t have them really, but the abandoned plot next to us has grapes that have come over to our plot, and they are the best I have ever seen them. All the heat and sun this summer has made the vine produce bunches and bunches of sweet grapes. I took some home to give them a try and apart from the pips, they are nice size, nice taste. There are so many bunches that I’m sure you could make a drink of some sort, I’ll pick some more on the next visit.

This time I planted out small cabbage and purple sprouting plants, maybe way too late in the year but any earlier and they would have frazzled in the hot sun. I wanted to plant out turnips too but I ran out of time.
