It has been a mixture of sun and rain for the last week and I expected to find the plot very much weedy, but it was not too bad. The main problem were the onions which being undercover means it does not get routinely hoed. I spent some time today weeding the onions and also put in the last lot of onions grown from seed that I left over at home.
Lots of bindweed removed, lots of brambles coming in from the field.
I banked up the first rows of potatoes, I am expecting the other rows will all be showing by next week and will need banking by then.
Carrots seedlings spotted, no beetroot just yet.
