Temperature records broken not only in the garden but also in the UK, beating the last records in 2022. Lots of early morning an late evening watering.
In the garden we picked the peas and we pulled the onions, laying them out to dry in the sun. We pulled the garlic and picked the one or two strawberries. Now the garden is host to squash plants and some young lettuce (not sure they will survive the heat). Tomato plants are growing as are the sweetcorn. We lost one sweetcorn plant to the squirrels which was a bit annoying.
On the plot, the potatoes are dying back and the onions are starting to droop over. Plenty of squash plants growing.
