Still lots of watering, temperatures have not been much below 20c for a couple of weeks and no rain is forecast. The potatoes have all died back and need pulling up. The beans and tomatoes sometimes look like they have suffered from the heat, but they come back after watering. Along with hot weather there has been strong winds which at times feels like a hot air oven, I’m sure plants don’t like that.

I pulled up all the onions and have left them out drying.

I have also resumed the project of clearing the fence of vegetation. I re-cleared the bit I did last year, this didn’t take long, and then did up to the next fence post. Each time I clear things it gives back about a meter of allotment.
