I started the day transplanting leek seedlings into module trays, these are now outdoors undercover instead of indoors. The lettuce plants can probably be planted out quite soon, maybe covered with fleece for a while.

At the plot we planted five rows of potatoes. They planted at the opposite end to last year, I rotate this each year. It’s at the end that doesn’t do as well in the past so I’ll wait and see how they go this year.

We also sowed two rows of parsnips, using last year’s seed and so sowed a lot just in case germination is not good. We covered this in fleece which after three years or so is looking a bit tired. We might get just one more year out of it maybe.
