Not much on the plot this weekend. Saturday was like a summer’s day, blue sky and hot, Sunday was like a wet and pretty miserable – I had already planned to go to the plot on Sunday. The rain put an end to that, but I was able to do things in the garden:
- re-potted some of the tomatoes
- sowed some more carrots to fill the gaps where they don’t seem to have germinated
- weeded
The homemade compost with working well, but it does seem to be full of seeds which have given us seedlings for tomatoes and melons! I pick them out when I see them.
