The first expense for a while in the shape of bags of spent mushroom compost. The price has gone up per bag quite a bit and so it seemed a lot of money for not a lot of compost.

Just picking things for tea, we already had stuff from last week we hadn’t used.

We have a ground full of parsnips and I feel I should dig these up before the end of the month and store somehow at home until needed.

It was a rather muddy day…
