We have finally picked our first lot of sweetcorn cobs which has worked out really well in the garden. With this success, next year we will grow a lot more, possibly some up on the plot but certainly some in the garden so that it gives us the “jungle” look and feel. It’s also worth noting that we pulled a number of onions from the garden all grown from seed.
Mostly, we are waiting for tomatoes to change colour of which some of them have done just that and we eat our first at the weekend. It’s a race against time for the green tomatoes before the sun leaves the garden for good until spring time.
