Planted out tomato plants in within the lettuce and radish. By the time the space is needed, both lettuce and radish will have gone. I’m picking both a lot of the time and enjoying salads (adding broad beans from the allotment). Suddenly, the garden beds are full with:

• garlic
• onions
• spring onions
• celery
• carrots
• beetroot
• sweetcorn
• tomatoes
• radish
• broad beans
• french beans
• runner beans
• peas
• mangetout
• potatoes

A planted out some more spring onion plants, under the broad beans which, again, once the space is needed the broad beans will all be gone.

Mostly, sitting in the garden, reading or playing Suduko.
