October is always allotment fee month, so that’s £60s that goes straight away. It has started off a quiet month, we have pulled a load of small carrots from the garden which went well in a chilie. We also cut our first butternut squash which we have been watching grow for months. While I was pulling up the old runner bean plants I found a load of viable purple french beans.
