I wanted to sow parsnips last week but the weather didn’t allow it. It was cloudy but warm and so we went up to the plot and sowed two rows of parsnips. While we were there, he cut a lot of purple sprouting, and more rhubarb.

Back at home I:

• repotted chillies
• repotted tomatoes
• sowed some parsnips in toilet roll tubes
• sowed sunflowers
• sowed more spring onions
