We spent the morning harvesting the black currents off our one and only bush.  Mind you, there were a lot to pick (about two big bowl fulls) and so many really large and juicy looking ones.     I have frozen these, but I may well defrost some at the weeknd as we might very well make blackcurrant ripple ice cream – yum.
