Hidden behind the planks of wood (a future project… one day) are the wild strawberries and the tayberry bush. The strawberries are a bit of a pain and why oh why would I plant fruit that I cannot eat! They look a mess in the winter and they try to grow all over the place, but for a short period of time during the year their white flowers and bright red fruits look quite nice and inviting.
The tayberry on the other side is a success. The bush cost just pennies and has taken a couple of years to give us our first fruit.
