After last year where we harvested next to no leeks, disappointing from one of our “big three” harvest items and a harvest that in 2020 supported us through the early days of covid with plenty of leek and potato soup, we have come back a bit in 2024. Allium leaf minor still affects the plot and I wasn’t putting up much hope for leeks this year but they seemed to mostly recover and in the end had no major signs of infection although were all quite small.
