Tomatoes and Butternut Squash

Most of the garden is filled with tomatoes and butternut squash. I keep spotting small squashes forming and not so many getting pollinated and turning into actual squash, so a lot of leaves and spread of the plant and not so much to come from it, yet. It is giving good ground cover though which keeps the beds looking busy (and stops the cats).

The tomato plants, which had a late start, are now starting to give us red tomatoes and after a lot of pruning and keeping in shape, there is promise for a lot more if the weather stays favourable.

In the other bed we have runner beans which are giving plenty every other day, french beans which are still giving us a bit, spring onions which are now really small onions, and the potatoes which have died back and are ready for digging.
