Everything sown in the garden

With one bed put over to onions (to give the plot a rest), it feels not much will be growing at home. Saying that, we have put in peas, carrots, beetroot and now two rows of french beans ending the rows with runner beans. Within the onion bed we have radish, salad and spinach. One thing missing this year is potatoes, I decided they took much too much space this this year.

I’m trying to uncover the beds during the day when it’s nice weather and I’m outside, but such nice weather days have not been about. The onions could do with more height, but it’s a bit of a battle with the cats.

The cherry tree will not have many cherries this year as I cut it down quite a bit. Not a problem as we had so many last year and a rest from cherries is not a bad thing.
