Planting Garlic

The day started with misty drizzle and certainly not the type of weather for going to the allotment, and the allotment probably would not like us doing so either with everything turning into a mud bath.   Come the afternoon it was looking a bit better, probably still a bit on the wet side to do any good, but I did want to plant garlic as otherwise I probably would not be able to until some time in January.

I kept to the paths, I planted the garlic in the bed dug the day before.   I had a small walk about and discovered what looked like rhubarb trying to come up under a load of weeds.   I tidied around and gave it some room to see the light – watch this space to see what happens with it.
