A quick visit this weekend to make sure all was ok on the plot.  I spotted not only countless plots suddenly transformed during the week with ground dug and potatoes in, back to our plot I there was:

 

• at least two sprout seedlings coming up in the pots  (still waiting for broadbeans and leeks)
• one onion bulb starting to sprout, others rooted in (a couple I put back in the ground, there is a robin that keeps an eye on me…)
• black currants showing new growth
• gooseberry leaves in existence
• rhubarb looking ready to pick
• young weeds starting to show (a pain, but a good sign that things grow)
