I thought I had left it a bit late, but looking back at notes from last year I was planting out purple sprouting at the end of July. This year the plants are not the best, still very small and struggled so far. I’m seeing a pattern with the new ‘no peat’ compost from B&Q with all seeds I have sown this year and starting to think “it’s not me, it’s you”.
I had to dig up a row of potatoes to make room for this. Most rows have now died back or are dying back, and so it is time I started to dig them up a bit more.
Lots of watering, although I’m expecting it to rain on Sunday…
