During the summer months there is not much to do apart from watering, weeding, and harvesting. Most of the time at the plot has been walking with watering cans from the plot to the tap and then back to the plot again.

I have held off planting out the small sprout plants as the weather has been too hot. This seems to have calmed down a bit now and so I have now put them out. A couple of the plants are very tiny and were struggling in pots so hopefully they will enjoy it better in open ground. I have covered them with netting to both keep off butterflies but also to keep the worst of the sun if it should suddenly become hot again.
