There was a brief bit of early morning sun and blue sky which made me think I could spend an enjoyable morning at the plot. It seemed as soon as I arrived, the weather turned and it was cold, drizzly and windy. I tidied some bits up, pulled a couple of leeks, and went back home.
On the plus side, our new neighbours have been and started to dig over bits, it makes a big difference when it feels you are not in the middle of an abandoned wilderness
