No longer working for home, for now, means I can’t finish work and be on the plot before 6pm. I got there instead at 6:20, set a timer for 30 minutes and started to tidy bits up. I was pleased to see all rows had potato plants poking out, I banked each of them up.
I uncovered the bed where I sowed parsnips and it has had fleece on ever since. I was pleased to see a line of seedlings. I also spotted the odd carrot seedling on another bed.
My visit was not long but it was nice going to the plot straight after work, it was a sunny warm day. I have the feeling that it will be the last warm, sunny, dry day for a bit.
