The bad weather has taken its toll a bit, although now that has stopped and we are back onto sun.  The grass needs cutting!  The many cone flowers that I planted from seed didn’t seem to come to much,  although I’m still hoping that some of the bits and pieces still growing may turn into one.  However, with the bad start to the sunflowers, they are all planted and you can just make their tops out on the bottom photo under the apple tree.  This will look good later on in August and onto September.
