Nothing says Christmas like a turnip….. possibly. It seems like a poor Christmas harvest but you have to remember this is “not a normal Christmas” as the media likes to remind us all the time.

The days have been short, dark, wet and cold and so not much has happened. We did make sausage rolls, including vegetarian ones, which we ventured out to the garden to pull a couple of turnips to add to the mix.

A more festive harvest may take place this weekend.
