May 2024
The final leeks pulled, a mix of mostly small leeks but much better than the nearly nothing that we pulled last year. Most of the month has been taken over by radish which we are picking and eating as fast as we can before they start flowering and going to seed.
The big news is strawberries, for the first time in a couple of years we have battled against the mice and seem to have won. Each visit I am picking strawberries.
