Only when you look at photos from the week before do you notice just how much things have grown. A mixture of sun and rain has helped things along. We picked our first radish from the garden and are picking lettuce leaves every other day.

I planted out runner and french beans, some chives, and the three butternut squash plants. For now, that’s both beds at home full. The beans and the butternut squash are planted within rows of radish, but the time the extra space is needed, the radish will have long gone. I also gave the grass around the beds a bit of a cut although really the whole lawn could do with it.
