Picking up tomato plants

It had been windy and rainy all week, but one evening at least the rain stopped. I thought I’d go to the plot to prep some ground to put in the purple sprouting plants at the weekend. At it happened, I spent most of my time picking the tomato plants back up having been blown over in the wind evening though they had been tied up to sticks. No real damage. I also recovered some of the sprout plants, the netting had blown about over them.

More wind during the week, I expect I’ll be repeating a lot of this at the weekend…
