Not because we really needed some, more because if I didn’t pick them then they would take over the world, along with the cucumbers. Having not been to the plot for the last week, I picked a million of each.
I made a bit of ad-hoc netting for the kale, it had grown too large for the current netting. I can probably start picking and using it. I did pick some chard, one of each colour, along with beetroot and rhubarb (maybe to make rhubarb and ginger jam).
Lots of courgettes, patty pans, and cucumbers. I left the raspberries and blackberries for now.
