It didn’t rain in April and so I have been watering both at home and at the plot. Weeds have not suffered, lots coming through from other plots and bindweed from our plot. I spent some time this afternoon doing lots of weeding.
The purple sprouting has flowered and so I’ll uncover that for the birds.
All rows of potatoes were showing and so I earthed them all up. The second time for the first two rows.
Lots of bindweed within the onions, which took a bit of a time to pull out.
I picked some of the radish which are markers for the parsnips really, but they are all looking ready to eat.
