Watching things grow at the plot

The middle of summer and while there is plenty to be done on the plot, at the same time there seems a lot of time to be doing it. A summer of cold, wet and wind, but also warmth and long evenings. Most of these evenings spent weeding and harvesting and this is what I mean by the feeling of not much seemingly going on. The weeding and harvesting is just all part of it and currently you can spend more time just enjoying things. In general, I never like the end of summer, nor the Autumn, but on the plot it is a different story as the end of the growing year gets nearer and you are enjoying all the work you have done for the other 11 months of the year. Don’t think over it for too long as you will soon be needing to plan and plant for overwintering and the next year.
