Blue sky and sun but very windy. Coming from the south and so hitting the plot head on. I had a quick visit where I sowed a thick long line of parsnip seed which came from The Veggrower Podcast, with the hope that some will germinate. I put in radish seed at intervals to act as markers and I covered in fleece to keep the wind off the moisture in. I’m surprised I was able to make the fleece behave in the the wind but I had the odd 5 minutes of calm that permitted me to lay it out flat. It’s seen better days.
The broad beans were getting blown about and they have had a really hard life weather wise so far. None of them look fantastic at the moment.
