The Hottest Day Ever

We didn’t get temperatures of 40c but we were around 30c for most of the day, maxing at 33c. The average temperature for July is showing as 20c of which the national general average is anything from 14c-21c and so overall it’s just another hot July (with the odd spike).

I have been watering both the plot and the garden every other day. The potatoes have suffered a bit, some of the rows have possibly died down a bit earlier than expected. We have been digging them as needed each week.

Because of the heat it means I have only just planted out the sprout plants that have been growing in pots at home. Some of them were not that happy and are tiny, they might survive now they have been planted out.
